Sources, confidence and corrections
HeadOfBusiness is built around source provenance, incremental enrichment, verified corrections and explicit data-rights workflows.
Public data sources
Keyless sources can include TED public procurement, GLEIF legal-entity data and Wikidata leadership data. Optional sources include SEC EDGAR, SAM.gov and Companies House when their required configuration is supplied by the administrator.
Incremental updates
Each imported source record keeps its provider ID and content hash. Unchanged records are skipped. Changed records are merged field by field and recorded in change history instead of blindly replacing the local entity.
Verified data wins
Fields maintained through approved company or person verification are locked against automatic replacement. Leadership is tracked per source, so one provider cannot remove a role that another current source still supports.
Corrections and privacy requests
Company representatives can request company ownership from the company page. A person profile provides profile claim, correction, opt-out and erasure requests. Approved erasure suppresses the corresponding external source identity so a later import does not automatically recreate the deleted profile.
Private contact data
The default installation does not publish scraped private phone numbers or personal email addresses.
